3D Printing Service

Digital manufacturing made simple.
Find out about our 3D printing service.

Types of 3D printing we offer

We offer a range of different additive manufacturing options. The best 3D printing type for you will depend on the design that you need to be manufactured. We have ten different polymer materials, and four different 3D printing processes. Our services are most commonly used by engineers, product designers and other professionals to create prototypes, and production runs of high quality parts.

About our 3D Printing Service

3D Printing, or additive manufacturing (AM), are digital manufacturing techniques that involve using a 3D model to produce an object layer by layer. Unlike other batch production manufacturing methods like injection moulding or casting, 3D printing excels at manufacturing one-offs, functional prototypes, and end-use parts with complex geometries at no extra cost to simple ones.

At Printpool we use a number of different 3D printing technologies. Each of them excels at producing certain types of part, with multiple materials options to choose from. We produce parts quickly in a number of plastics, not just for rapid prototyping, but for functional parts too.

If you require non disclosure agreements to be signed before you upload parts to our online 3D printing service, we can usually accommodate that. We can help you select the right material for your project, and sometimes give input on the design process also. You won't get an instant quote from us, because we think that each customer deserves more attention than that. You won't get an instant price, but you will get our best price.

Every step of the way, from first upload to the time you get your final 3D print in the post, you will receive emails updates from the Printpool team. A quality online 3D printing service should do more than just produce functional parts, so we invest in digital technology and systems that keep our customers informed.

When you receive your parts, all support structures will have been removed by our highly trained staff, so that your plastic parts are ready to go. If you have used our selective laser sintering process, then all parts will be  depowdered.

During periods of high demand, we may offer to upgrade you to a superior material or technology, for the same price, to ease the queue in a certain part of our production facility. This is entirely optional, and we will discuss the new material with you to ensure you and your company are happy with the change.
